Tim Burton:
Tweeting Crowd-Sourced Tale
Tuesday, November 23, 2010
Film director and artist Tim Burton has taken to Twitter in a bid to drum up interest in a exhibition of his work. Burton's fans are being invited to collaborate with him, tweet-by-tweet, on a crowdsourced work of fiction; the best tweets from each day are chosen by Burton and used to continue the story, writes smartbrief.com and Mashable adds:
Ever had the burning desire to collaborate with Tim Burton? Well, now you can, as the director/producer/artist/writer has taken to Twitter to create a crowd-sourced tale to promote an upcoming museum showing of his work.
Tim Burton's project is called Tim Burton’s Cadavre Exquis and you can find it where you find everything nowadays ... on Twitter (search for #BurtonStory).

So, there you go. That's how far storytelling has come ;) ... Here is a good interview with Tim Burton (not related to the story above, © 2009 The Museum of Modern Art).
