The Story Museum

Well, right now The Story Museum is just a website - or to use a more optimistic and positive way of saying it - it's a virtual museum.
But nevertheless, the idea behind The Story Museum is a good one:
We believe that stories are an important part of being human and that spoken and written stories are especially important for young humans. So we’re developing and sharing 1001 enjoyable, memorable ways to inspire and help children to learn through stories as they grow.
Stories are an important part of being human? Well, of course they are. That's why we are doing this UX Storytellers thingy, right? :)
The Story Museum is working to create a museum of children’s literature and storytelling in the heart of Oxford, UK.
This will be a museum in its true sense – a place of inspiration and wonder – an impressive and beautiful building with performance and exhibition spaces, reading, listening and creative play areas for different ages, a shop and cafĂ©.
What a beautiful idea. Oxford has played host to some of the UK's most enduring literary creations, writes the The Guardian.
Children learn best through storytelling. As adults, we must remember how it was being young, how it was being a great storyteller.
